Looked this up to find out wtf.  Turns out a non-participant outfitted themselves right down to pinning race numbers on his shirt and jumped out on the course.

With the peloton bearing down at the line, at this point wouldn't it have made more sense to let him cross and out of the way before taking him down?  Anyway, nice tackle.

Music radio sucks! I just heard died in your arms tonight on three different stations! Two in San Diego and one from Los Angeles. I heard Toto Africa twice in a span of maybe 15-20 minutes. This is why I listen to 91x in San Diego or talk radio
