If you were living with her at 14.... there’s a name for that.

There is never an excuse for abuse but maybe the fact he was having to feed his 14 year old brother in law and his shack up gf pushed the guy over the edge. Miller said his mother died a few years ago and gave him her apartment. I wonder why she abandoned him as a youth. Either that or it is all fan fiction.
Are we having fun yet?

Thank you for your comments and making me think things over. As I read this comment..I thought of Nicole Brown Simpson. Can you imagine the male police officer taking a complaint about “JUICE”?

RIP Nicole Brown Simpson.
Unfortunately, such an officer would be figuratively disarmed with a handshake and an autograph no matter what the department policy states. Only the most disciplined, experienced and morally intact would dare arrest "The Juice."

I don’t know, the guy that threw Dyno’s sister down the stairs deserved to get the living shit kicked out of him. Any man who beats a woman or kid should get the same. I know that’s not popular and that no violence is good but I can’t help it I am old school when it comes to this. Seen some of it myself.

Retribution is an exception in some cases. I agree.

I am glad to know that your husband is a great guy. You deserve the good guys in your life. So many of the real Alpha males I know are often "quiet" men. Often times these quiet men like the film, The Quiet Man (1952). I also have a quiet Alpha male in my life. Easy going men unless there is real trouble...then watch out.
Your Beta man may need a new collar. He has been pulling on his chain for hours.

Real men are confident and have nothing to prove.

Quite often the abuser will beat up the spouse, the children and the pets. They are the same types that kick the tar out of a dog or hang a cat by the tail on a clothesline. The signs are usually there by adolescence.

I agree Journey. That was what I was trying to convey yesterday but then it turned into something else .

Yes it’s a lack of empathy and a cruel spirit. Very sad.
