Is It Creepy to be Thanked for Engaging in Marital Relations?

When thanked, are you supposed to say, "You're welcome" and hope the partner leaves a tip???  Like you did the guy a mere favor!  I thank people for taking out the trash, not for sex!  If a phrase applies to taking out the trash, should it never apply to sex?

Something about the joint venture of sex is relevant to not thanking.  Sex is a team sport.  Do athletes thank their teammates for playing in the game?  Why or why not?

* I mean it.  Somebody once put the hypothetic -- or maybe it was a real incident -- of the extermination camp exterminator being polite to the exterminatee.  Yes, if I were being terminated w extreme prejudice, I would prefer it being done to me w good manners.  If somebody's going to terminate me w extreme prejudice, I don't want hir being nasty to me on top of it.  It may be a little thing in the overall scheme, but it's something.
