What is wrong with his voice & why doesn't he take some time off to recover?  What a dolt.  He got sick, worked sick for 2 weeks or more.  Time went on.  His voice seemed to recover for a few days, but not anymore.  He's just running himself into the ground; that is no way to be.  Not cool.  Not attractive, either.  There are a lot of people in their 70s and they don't have old man voice. 

Maybe he should do vocal warm-ups before the show.  I used to work on the phones all day and sometimes I had to do that.  He does sound better as the show goes on, but he's pushing through when he should rest it.

Noory yet again cutout a half hour early tonight playing part of an old interview with some bigfoot guest.

The only good thing about that is maybe it will help his voice.

He doesn't want his guests to bypass the C2C website. Surely, that's why he dumped him.

sNoory is the epitome of laziness. Showing up to collect a paycheck when you don't have a healthy private life and you don't do the preparation is still laziness.

Tonight near the start of the show, Noory played a short taped interview with his mother who turned 95 today. She is very proud of him...

It was TAPED???  You've got to be kidding.

Twice while I was listening last night Noory patted himself on the back for showing up on a holiday but he tried to cover up his bragging by telling the audience that it is HIS honor to be serving them. What he's really saying is 'I know most of you are old, sick, poor and lonely and I'm a rich semi-famous man but I sacrifice my own comfort to provide you some company in the darkness of the night. I am like Jesus.'

I have to say it did come across as a little sanctimonious, trying too hard.  He probably didn't mean to sound resentful but it sounded like it.  Which made it sound angry or sarcastic.  Since he is the king of awkward, he probably didn't mean it that way though.

Noory sounds like he's 95.  Good grief, he's sounded as if he's slipping into sleep the whole show thus far.

He also has no friends, no outside interests, and nothing else to do.

He drinks.  He gambles.  So he says.

To be fair, when Sorry goes off script we get questions like ''why does Jesus have a Mexican name?''

And, "I'd like to see clouds make rain".  Um, clouds ARE the rain.

Maybe they just tape him reading the questions and then insert the answers when the actual interview is held.  That would be like a delayed response or semi-taped interview.  Who knows what methods they use in radio these days with what you have to work with.

I've wondered about that.

I'll admit that I have not listened to Snoory in a very long time. The last time that I listened to C2Cam, It just has way to many commercials breaks in which it messes up the flow of the show. But its happens not just to C2Cam but other talk shows on the AM/FM radio stations.
