Noory literally broke into his interview/calls with his guest like he is Walter Cronkite with a breaking news bulletin 'we have news that Louise is gone, she passed away in her sleep, she was the listener who believed she was Cleopatra reincarnated, she was a lot of fun. I'm sure she's in Heaven.'

I only communicated with Noory once. Noory got his start with televison news in Detroit. For decades one of the local weather guys on the news in Detroit was a man known as Sonny Eliot. Interesting guy. He was born Marvin Eliot Schlossberg and he had done some stage work with George C. Scott while both were really young. When the war started he became a B-24 bomber pilot and was shot down over Germany. Figuring that being a Jewish bomber pilot might not be conducive to a happy POW experience, he threw his dog tags away and became Sonny Eliot. After the war he got into television as it was just starting. His weathercasts were always full of silly little jokes.  Figured that he could be an interesting guest for a segment. Imagine how many questions you could ask?  Emailed Noory with the suggestion and his reply was "Sonny is a great friend".  LoL
