oh that's gotta hurt, frequent Coast guest 'Dr. Sky' now has his own show on Friday and Saturday nights on WABC/Red Apple Media. Heard a 'celebrity' promo 'Hey it's me Billy Mumy from Lost in Space and I listen to the Dr. Sky show.'

Ah so that must be why Noory replaced Dr Sky with Mike Bara weeks ago for the Mon night spot.

WABC has a new overnight host who goes by the name of Lionel.  Some of you may like him.  I think he starts at 2 Eastern.

Low man on the IQ totem pole George kept on dropping those names, I bet he asked Dr Sky if he knew Billy Mumy because Dr. Sky uses a telescope and Billy was in a show about space.

George will not get a commission on that hook up.

Noory always brings up a celebrity who he calls "a friend" like he did when he had a guest in Australia last week.  He immediately tells him his friend Russell Crowe is from there too - but the guest corrected him informing Noory that Russell is actually from New Zealand!

Last night after 2 hours about The Beatles (that Noory never listened to growing up since he wad too busy with his mom's old records) during open lines Noory wondered if thry still make record players now!
He apparently was totally unaware of the resurgence of "vinyl" and the term "turntables" so he wanted to ask each csller when was the last time they had "spun a record"

I heard a few snippets of that guy talking about the Beatles. He didn't really know about them. He must have written a book by reading other people's books...

That Russell Crowe comment was hilarious. I think I heard that on a pre-show replay. Didn't George say that Russell's a good guy? As if George Noory has good taste and judgment...

He knows Russell Crowe and how does he know Russell Crowe?  He met him in the elevator and belted out. "Somewhere Below The Sea."  Russell Crowe spasmed and hit stop elevator between floors and climbed out the top as Norry echoed down on the third floor.  The ride was memorable.

Thanks for the heads up. Lionel is a legend but an acquired taste.

A caller in the last hour of last night's c2cam show, kept telling Noory all of his guests are QUACKS!

Today is Noory's birthday so they are allocating 2 hours of open lines for all the sad packers to call in and brown nose him!

Noory just said he got lots of emails asking what did he do for his birthday and he said only that he got up today!

Now Noory is also playing pre-recorded messages from past c2c guests wishing him a happy birthday.
First caller is old time caller from South Carolina Barry's wife.
Noory told her he is now a great-grandfather!

Now as expected, here come the sad packers - first up of course is Cornelius who tried to sing!
