Given the current US attack on Canada what spirit animal should Canadians now identify with?

I wasn't aware of an "attack"
Perhaps more like a troll on a dead and cowardly government? Although they do like to pretend they're being attacked, as do the dupes who vote for them.

Grey Owl played the same game but received posthumous recognition. Wasn't BSM pure grift?

Should we call this larping, cultural appropriation or just good old American BS?

BSM deserves total cancellation. If in the USA, stolen valor laws should be expanded to cover that shit. Elizabeth Warren take note...

I had a Geronimo action figure when I was a kid. I accidentally dropped him in the middle of one of our ponds one day, but when we drained the pond years later I found an albino 13" Geronimo! I was PISSED!

KSM,

I'm in the market for a planer but I'm not ready yet to drop several hundred dollars on a decent bench top model.  So for now I am looking at hand models.  Any thoughts on a hand held electric versus a manual one?  They are about the same price.

For coolness and home bar decor I would go for the old school, but since you are not a home bar guy..

Also, how much effort do you want to put in to your project? IMO the electric gives you more control in your range of motion unless your planing form is consistent and disciplined. Do you even want to break a sweat? No. You just want to get it done man! You're not a pioneer out in the Grizzly Adams woods about to hollow out a would be canoe.

Here's mine. Dug it out just for you. I picked it up back when I had to skim the sides off a few doors in the BnB house. It was fast and easy and of course very subtle adjustments made for finding the sweet spots. Dust bag included but of course all dust bags only get about 50 - 70% of the dust.  ::)
