This is more of a tell.  I can no longer make fun of your Gibson incident as now one of my Strat’s has joined my Epiphone LP in taking a header from a cheap stand.  It was okay and just needed a retuning but I think it is time to invest in some quality stands.

I think a Tell is totally acceptable when talking about a near miss!

Some of the wall mounts come with a lock-on rather than an open U shape that mine flew out of. @whoozit  AND of course they don't take up any floor real estate.
