Memphis is the 2nd or 3rd most dangerous cities in the US, worse even than Baltimore!  I know because we were considering relocating. There are actually videos on YT on WHY NOT to move to Memphis.

I guess when they say they want "real change" @damon is serious, he knows that I would take the job very seriously as I rolled everything and everyone back to 1950. It's off to Casper for @TigerLily her and PB can get a room and fawk their differences away.

Yeah, Memphis isn’t very desirable but, like a number of cities, some of the suburbs aren’t bad, like Germantown.  For me, I’d be more interested in something around Nashville.  I still find Tennessee to have too much of a “hillbilly” vibe, though.  I always expect to hear banjos breaking out when I’m in the state.

It’s not a bad value but I just wouldn’t care to live in the Memphis area, in general.  For nice country-side, I do like some of the area around Nashville, especially around the Kentucky-Tennessee border.  Nashville has, unfortunately, gotten a little too popular and is not nearly the value, anymore.
