KSM, how do you decide which checkout line to get in at the store?
Good question
@PB The most common answer amongst commoners is look for the shortest line but we both know that
that is never a sure thing. Oh, no, I assess the situation and look for older men who tend to pay with cash more often. Sometimes there are idiots in the line and you know they're going to hold things up - these cretins may or may not be wearing pajamas and be sporting an unnatural hair color. It also depends on the store. Do they have lotto tickets sold at the till? Scan for old ladies and these types ETC ETC. You know them when you see them. peoples who's homes have wheels are always buying lotto tix.
Hardware/lumber place the other day I got in the line that had four ahead of me when the other line was only two folks. I was astute enough to notice the one customer with a large lumber order in his hand. It is things like this that have me home quicker than the others.
Sometimes I'm wrong, but mostly I am right!
