Why would Hax put cheap, carpet squares in his workshop? Looks like a royal goat screw. Why not go with Armstrong VCT tiles like you find in grocery stores? Dirt cheap, easy to maintain and they are tough mothers.
HaxMan is a CheapMan. Other than content for his channel I don't know why he would do that, regardless of price.
VCT is the shit! Ugly in most cases but as you said, tough as mothers! My gym in WA, 28' - 34' cost me about $2,800 for 1" solid black rubber interlock. That stuff was great but a tad pricey. I wonder what the bloody fuck she did with all that!!
