Hey KSM,
Do you really think that Norm first met that guy on his podcast underneath the Queensboro Bridge, jerking off punks for $15 a man?
LOLOL! I'm laughing like Gilbert.

Is there a problem that I had a bigger smile over my new soldering station that I paid $20 for (50% off at Amazon) than I had for two pretty damn good guitars?
PS I think this is the first time that I have bought and put on .009s on a guitar in a while. Should have done that years ago. It's a lot easier and Strat spankier too.
The Classic Vibe I got has 2mm action on the bass, maybe 1.25mm on the treble and I'm only getting a little buzz on the plain G string. I will dink with that later after I get acclimated to playing, I'm pretty ham-handed.
Hell, I've been known to play lead bass and strum it as well. When there 's only three instrumentalists, sometimes strumming the bass is needed, hahaha.
Ya know. I gotta pour a drink for this one. Much to address here at first glance.

So, you found JOY in a soldering station! Greater JOY than that of TWO guitars combined. *well that's not insane*
I agree, 9s are the shit - best of all worlds.
@Bart Ell would have us believe that he strings his with custom made 15's!

"I will dink with that later" <-------------- DINK! ?
It angers me when a bass player wants to do NON-Bass-Player stuff on a BASS guitar! When the hell
unless you're Lemmy is it ok to strum a bass?

And play LEAD on a bass? oh for shit sakes
I'm sorry for coming across a tad harsh, but really man.
