KSM,

Used to pitch in High School.  Wasn't great but I wasn't terrible either. Had a really nice little curve ball and a fair to middlin' slider.
Threw my arm out tonight playing fetch with the dogs while chucking a tennis ball.

What the hell happened to me?

I used to throw my arm out with tennis balls, but seldom baseballs or softballs - something about them being too light...

Far too light to throw like the much beefier baseball. The very movement does not lend itself to a tennis ball.

Being that I am not a pot smoking loser I will spend the day thinking on the significance of the holy weekend while making an Easter ham with all the trimmings.

Yes, KSM, Pot smoking is for losers and you're not a commie loser who smokes pot. I hope that you have a good holy weekend.

Is that what you would call bacon in the United States? Something got lost in translation between Canada and the US.

Hey @KSM

Several years ago my wife had Nucore vinyl plank flooring installed and the contractor couldn’t get the transition strips and stair bullnose delivered in time.

So I’m stuck with installing them. I think I have the transition strips figured out because they have a metal bracket that gets screwed to the floor and then the vinyl transition strip pushes into that.

The vinyl bullnose trim is too thin to use my brad nailer. What kind of adhesive should I use on the tread and bullnose to keep me from breaking my neck in the middle of the night?
Are we having fun yet?

I am no flooring expert, but I would want something that is somewhat flexible to grab uneven surfaces.

I think I would be putting some thin 3M Super strength molding tape. It can be undone with a hair dryer and a plastic scraper/putty knife thing. If you get the exterior version, you can use it to reattach trim pieces to your car and put things on your shower wall.

The only thing I would be cautious about is ordering it on Amazon. Make sure it's in an actual 3M blister pack. I ordered some that came in a white bag with a made in China sticker on it. 3M assured me that it was counterfeit.

Small amount of coverage so no need to buy a 5 gallon bin like a floor guy does.

Personally I would use  Lepage Premium. Trowel it smooth, or what I usually did was run a few lines left to right and press/set your plank down as the glue flattens out beneath. Trust me, it'll hold. You already know to make sure all surfaces of contact are clean and dry.

I've used that on ALL my hardwood stair jobs as well as laminate and planking.

Stairs pictured were done in 2012. I still know the guy and his stairs haven't budged. Now multiply his stairs by about 390 other staircases.

How are your former grunts doing with the business you left them?  They still have the truck?

They drove everything into the ground within 8 months of my leaving. One of them runs a local golf course owned by his rich parents while the other does well at a local mill where his dad was upper management.

Thanks @KSM Couldn’t find LePage but the tubes I bought had a lot of the same letters on it.

I went with this. Scuffed up the vinyl bullnose with a wire cup brush on my drill. Hopefully it will hold. This stuff says works with vinyl.

Pretty much the same product. That'll do it.
