If you read the transcript of the interview with Joyce Riley, you will see it is nothing like Dietrich describes.
Richard Sorge's fate requires no speculation. He was a spy, and he is dead.
Sorge was captured by the Japanese on October 18, 1941. Dietrich claims Sorge was tried and publicly executed by the Japs on November 7, 1941.
So why does he now claim that Sorge may have escaped?
