My uncle drank Strohs for a long time in the 70s. I remember coming back on leave in the late 80s to find two cases of it his basement.  But he was drinking something else.  It was in a green bottle and I can't remember the name, started with a "P"
Yeah, I enjoyed Strohs, “The fire brewed beer.”

I spent a summer in Philadelphia painting my grandma's house. I drank tons of Genesee cream ale. Loved that stuff.

Whatever it was, I drank it all (I was used to drinking Budweiser and before that San Miguel and Red Horse)

Heck, yeah.  One of my favorites.  Genny Creams.  Great stuff!

I learned to drink stout for a few years. I liked some of them. There was an explosion of craft beers in the 2000s so I tried a bunch of stuff.  But my barfly days came to an end in about 2002.

And speaking of being a male and having fun, my brother is in town for the holidays and we are gonna break in his brand new Springfield Armory Saint Victor and shoot up some stuff in the desert. Maybe print out some photos of the terrorist sandman shake and ddd and tape them to some milk jugs..

I used to call "Murphys Irish Stout" a "snack"!  College girl bartender would ask me if wanted another snack...

Yeah, we used to refer to beer as a cold barley sandwich.

My Fulton Armory FAR15 with ACOG needs attention/exercise.  We here in the NY Fingerlakes need to be careful these days.
