I contacted Tim the evening of December 29, 2021, regarding his comment, and we spoke for some time. Tim is (was) a direct relation to Anderson. He expressed to me that he does not regret posting the comment itself, only the phone number.
Tim had received numerous calls since posting the comment in 2014 from people defending Anderson and his time travel story.
Tim vouched for Anderson's education at WVU including ROTC and service in the USAF but stated he was stationed at Andersen AFB, CA - not Edwards AFB, CA. Andersen AFB is located in Guam.
Anderson lied to Tim. I know about the Base because it was a stop during my return MAC Flight home from the Philippines on January 28, 1986. (The day of the Challenger explosion). It's possible Anderson may have been stationed on Guam at that time.
