No, it's unseasonably warm here lately. I think it got to 50  today.

I saw Mack and SB got 8 inches of snow by noon today. Mack was out "playing" in it for a while.  I found a great meteorologist and storm chaser and watched his live stream all day.  One of the chasers lives in Travelers Rest and shot a drone video:

Looks like winter may pass us by this year. One of my elm trees is already starting to bud. It's hard to believe winter is almost a third of the way through. Time is flying.

It is about 20 degrees here and we had expected 8-12 inches of snow followed by sleet/ice.  So far, we have only had a light dusting.  The storm is being followed closely by a warm/dry area and moving to the NE.  I prepped stuff and checked the snowblower, but I don't think we will see 12 inches, and we may see sleet or rain by morning.

I hope we don't get a late blast of winter. I have a baby pecan and baby fig tree out in the yard and those late frosts can be murder.
