UPDATE:  Resumption of normal Operations at the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) in St. Louis

Local health conditions in the St. Louis area have improved and the NPRC will resume normal operations beginning March 7, 2022.

There may be a considerable backlog of FOIA requests for records, but since my latest request for Anderson's record was submitted in late December, I expect a reply sooner than later.  It also means that any future requests are likely to be processed as they had been within 30-60 days.  This is good news for investigators and the veterans community who expose fraudulent claims of military service.

It may also be reflective of other agencies in the US Government - specifically the IRS and Department of State, who have managed to avoid FOIA requests due to COVID and been "unaware" of fraudulent activity by Anderson and others for years, but now will face a tsunami of shit!
