George Knight is the same asshole who says he has researched everything Dietrich has claimed, and it's all true.  So it's not surprising that he has made bullshit claims about his own "experiences" or those of family members, to Dietrich in their private conversations.

And you are exactly right.  The RN would never have allowed a civilian merchant craft to transport a weapon to the conflict in Argentina.  In fact, there is evidence that the RN actually transported and likely recovered several itself during and after the conflict.
