Yeah, his previous claims were that she was in the IJA during WW2 assigned to Unit 731.  He often used a photo of a Japanese actress in an IJA uniform to say it was his mother.  I could not find the photo or the name of the film.  I know I have posted it before, so it's probably buried here somewhere.
