Galveston had several artillery bunkers along the coast for artillery to defend against uboats. Some have been removed but some were just incorporated into the landscape.

Back in the 80s I dove a wreck called the Empire Mica near Panama City that was sunk by a German uboat.

At the entrance to Puget Sound and the mouth of the Columbia river you can find similar structures that were built at the turn of the last century.  An interesting piece of trivia is the movie Officer and a Gentleman was filmed at Fort Worden near Port Townsend, WA.

And Vinny thinks Jamo was "dirty baggage" dragging Dietrich down.  It's Vinny's "mission" to promote and "save" Dietrich.  And Jamo did not like Vinny, so Vinny did his thing to remove him.

Vinny did not want a practicing Satanist/Occultist/drug-addicted freak associated with Dietrich, because that would not be aligned with Dietrich's claims of being anti-Satanist.  In my opinion, Douglas was annoyed by Jamo and did not want him in the "club" because his "contributions" were bizarre and boring.

Yeah, the single photo he has used for over 20 years shows him at about 45-50.  He is now in his mid 60's or something.  And he obviously knows what Dietrich actually looks like these days, because he has visited him recently.  Dietrich has not published any image of his actual self in almost 10 years.
