Hey Gunner did you hear that new story in the last show? I think ddd said he was in Bosnia and he hooked up with an autistic kid and his dad. Suddenly his position was being attacked by an enemy wave of combatants. He said he opened up with full automatic at the enemy and the kid started making funny noises. ddd asked the dad what the kid was doing and the dad responded "He's counting the bullets you have fired and you will be out of ammo soon." So ddd switched to semi-auto and conserved his ammo and he credits the idiot-savant with saving his life.

ddd probably got the idea from a Batman TV show from the 60s. Batman and Robin were hiding behind the batshield as a bad guy sprayed them with bullets from a Tommy gun. At some point the bullets stopped coming and Batman announced "It's okay, we can move now. He's out of ammo." Robin asks him how does he know this and Batman answers "I counted the bullets."

I think he is lying.  No one on a teacher's salary would be taking a 3 day weekend off to fly across the country to hunt big game.  Think about the cost of travel, lodging and paid guide, weapons, etc.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing for most people to do.  And how is the game going to be processed and delivered to him afterward?
