Apparently, Brooke pissed a few people off last night, especially Dietrich.  Not only did she express her frustration with Dietrich and Moon both going over the same shit in two different ways for hours on end for the benefit of Dietrich and another book, but she also went as far as to confront Dietrich about Moon's real name.

Dietrich hurriedly managed to stop her from saying it.  Brooke admitted she had not read Dietrich's Roswell book and that pissed him off even more.  There was even a brief moment when Brooke disagreed with Dietrich and his idiots about talking down the US Marines.

At exactly 11:27:45, Dietrich is interrupted by Brooke writing him a message on SKYPE:

Dietrich:  "OMG honey, oh gosh, wait, this is like...I am on call and have to press the button,...And jeez I have to deal with this shit...OMG, really?  Life is difficult enough.   I hate to deal with shit..and bring on this 'person' [emphasis added] who has to disturb my piece of mind and my narrative.  I mean, honestly, there's a real sense of why do they do this?  Now, come on Brooke, you can answer.

(Dietrich uses his sleazy/angry tone):  "If you can sit there and write to me while I'm trying to narrate you can at least have the dignity to answer - come on honey. "OMG, and She's still typing...(heavy sighing).

I just can't ...just pick up the phone honey."  "I mean OMG this..God this is so unnecessary, she's writing an essay too. "This is just absurd.  for her to do this to me while I am live on air too...I mean really, come on Brooke...Just answer the phone darling."

Dietrich goes back into his reading from others' published work and is then interrupted by a groggy Peter Moon at 7:45 am.

It's obvious to me that Brooke has had enough of Dietrichs' bullshit and is like preparing to bail on him and his cult of asslicking, lying freaks.

Since she was clearly writing to him and not answering him, It's a good sign she probably confronted him with some shit she did not want to say publicly on air.

On a more somber note:

Today marks the 37th year I have remembered the untimely death of a fellow US Marine and friend, LCpl Gregory Joseph Kuhlman.

Kuhlman joined US Navy ROTC while in college and enlisted in the USMC in 1984.  We were both assigned to "C" Company, Marine Barracks, Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines. Kuhlman was mortally wounded on the morning of October 31, 1985, during a reactionary response.  He was a medivac by helicopter to Clark AFB when he died en route. Two other Marines were wounded in the incident.

I would later obtain a copy of the JAG Manual Report of Investigation into the death of LCpl Kuhlman. in its entirety.
With the assistance of my former company GnySgt, at "C" Co, who had become a Sgt Maj.

It was this connection with a Marine SSgt "Casualty Section" officer who then approached my former Gny Sgt. and confirmed my request. My former Gny Sgt was then a Sgt Maj and remembered me, and authorized the release of the report.

Just 22 - incredibly sad.

Yes.  Greg had married a Filipina and they had a small house in the Barrio San Antonio, off base near the beach.  I used to go over there and pay 50 Pesos for a fresh-caught Tuna and she would cook it on the grill.  She was a few months pregnant when Greg was killed. Never found out what happened to them.

She had a boy and I am sure she was probably the beneficiary of his life insurance, but I never knew what happened to them.  I visited a Subic Bay Marines website and others connected to it in about 2004, but I don't recall finding anything about his wife and child.  The website floundered for many years and it is changed now, you have to pay to join, and I haven't done so yet.

Place by the beach with fresh fish.  That sounds pretty darn nice!

It was a fairly small stretch of beach facing west out to the South China Sea and the Capones and Camara Islands.  Primarily a motorized. outrigger fishing boat launch area.

I used to pay 25 pesos ($1.00) for a ride out to Capones Island to hike up to the old Spanish lighthouse.  The "house" was a short walk from the beach.  Two stories and about 800 sq ft. Pigs, chickens, and dogs were everywhere.  One photo his wife took on the beach shows a small pig in the background.  It sounds great, but it was very typical and the poverty was obvious.
