Claiming a lawsuit to force MUFON and Wil whoever to produce the recording is a fucking lie. I have NEVER heard of anyone doing this...
First of all, the live stream (ZOOM Call) is the "intellectual property" of the person initiating the call. The participants are agreeing to be recorded simply by being present. Note that Dietrich brings these accusations immediately at the end of the Zoom call, and was told that the content he was presenting had nothing to do with MUFON as an organization/group and that any recording was at the discretion of the MUFON group and the person who provided the Zoom call to Dietrich.
All of this can be researched and I would not be surprised if MUFON initiates a copyright claim against Dietrich's YouTube channel based on his false claims.
https://www.lawtechnologytoday.org/2021/08/legal-issues-in-zoom-meetings/Recordings:
Zoom offers no indication to a participant that a meeting is being recorded.
Once recorded, no restrictions exist on where the recorded meeting may be posted on the internet or otherwise made available. Recording a meeting without a participant’s knowledge or consent may be considered wiretapping. When something is posted on the internet, it is on the internet forever!
Zoom also has an “attendee attention tracking feature” that allows the meeting host to monitor a participant’s level of engagement and distractions from other electronic sources.
