Miguel "Angel" Valles was not a "Green Beret" who served two tours in Vietnam and influenced his cousin Ramirez to be a serial killer.  These documents prove that Dietrich embellished the lies of a serial killer (Ramirez) and his biographer Philip Carlo.

I will be working on the story this week hopefully with help from the SOF/Army community.  The documents appear to indicate Valles completed Basic Airborne training and received a Vietnam Service Medal, but was not wounded in Vietnam and discharged as a PVT.
