No ddd, the defense of Midway was way more important than the Aleutians. Midway was a refueling point and therefore critical. Bombing Japan from the Aleutians was impractical because the bombers would have had to have had fought prevailing winds to reach their targets.

Right ddd, there were submarine air craft carriers. Maybe they could carry one scout plane. And the Doolittle raid used B-25s, not B-29s which could never operate off an aircraft carrier.
