Yeah some pizzas are better than others but I could eat any pizza and enjoy it. From the .99 cent ones to the $50 deep dishers. Love it all.

Ya know, I said Italian sausage was my favorite but I'm leaning toward pepperoni.  Oh, and the pizza has to have a whole milk mozzarella.  Not that skim-milk bullshit chains are using.
Yes!  Pepperoni and whole milk mozzarella.  That other crap is like eating a plastic product.

I once saw an anchovy and jalapeño pizza.  You can decide which it is.

Was it delivered to Falkie's hoardshack courtesy of @Rally Squirrel ?
Eh, nevermind...

Ugh!  I hate Little Caesars pizza.

I'll get a Sleazers once or twice a year - gotta support the Red Wings right?

@ShayP Did I ever tell you my Detroit automaker / pizza chain theory?  I'm guessing not. It goes like this.
Domino's is General Motors.  All powerful, omnipresent - they are the undisputed king of the hill. Little Caesar's is Ford. A solid competitor to their bitter rival at the top, they do well enough to survive but can never really thrive.  Then there is poor Hungry Howie's. They are Chrysler - always hanging barely by hand to mouth and sometimes the hand doesn't quite reach the mouth.

No sir. @Walks_At_Night You never told me of your theory, and I like the comparisons.  I never heard of Hungry Howie's so I looked it up.  Pizza doesn't look bad but what they call "subs" look like folded flat bread.  :P

I haven't had Little Caesars in probably 15 years if not longer.  The last two times it made me sick.  The first time it just didn't agree with me, probably because I had a shitload to drink and puked all night.  The second time however, I suspect foodborne illness.  My sister-n-law at the time ate from the same pizza.  We were the only two who did.  She ended up in the hospital.  I had vomiting, fever, sweats, and diarrhea for a couple days.

Oh.  When Dominos reinvented their menu I found it to be quite good.  Unfortunately they shut down most of the locations near me when I was in Richmond due to robberies and employees getting murdered.  I still can't believe I made it in that neighborhood.  I guess being referred to as a "crazy white boy" gave be some sort of pass.

Little Ceasars is in my rotation but probably at the bottom as it comes off a little too greasy/sodium filled for my taste. My family really likes it. This is going to sound snobby but I don't mind paying the extra $5+ dollars and get a local pizza place, on the most part there stuff seems fresher..

I don't mind pineapple but it is the riskiest topping to get, if it's not fresh and good the quality it's awful. I don't there a bigger risk/reward pizza topping than pineapple and it really varies depending who you call. Mushrooms you have to be careful as well but it's not as drastic as pineapple

Not snobby at all.  Most of the best pizzas I've ever eaten are from the "mom & pop shops."  They are pricey too.  It's worth it.  There's a place very close to me that has the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life.  It is pricey but I don't care.  All fresh ingredients.  The dough is superb.  You can smell the yeast as soon as you open the box and take a bite.  But alas, due to my diet, eating that is a rare occasion.

To me, mushrooms are good if they are fresh and not the canned stuff.  I still can't do pineapple.

Never even heard of Hungry Howie's?  See!  Definitely the Chrysler of the Big Three Detroit Pizza Chains.  Who the hell is murdering the pizza dudes in Richmond?  Were they provoking Lewis?

There is of course a 4th Detroit pizza chain...Jet's Pizza. You would think it would be a shoo in for AMC but it is great pizza. Their 8 corner pizza is the best chain pizza I've ever had in fact.  So as much as I want to hammer them into the the AMC hole, you can't equate the beauty below with an AMC Pacer or Gremlin.

Use your imagination. @Walks_At_Night After the second death and drivers getting robbed on a regular basis, they shut them all down in my area.  I did not live in a good area of town.  While they were still in business, every delivery driver looked like they were on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  This was when Richmond was considered the murder capital of the USA.  I think they held that distinction twice during my time there.  For several years they were in the top tier.  Good times.

The pizza does look good.  @Walks_At_Night   I've never tried the Detroit style deep dish.  Oh, my mother had a Gremlin. LOL!  Looked similar to this:

Looks like there is one Jet's in Pittsburgh:
Quote
Pittsburgh, PA 15216
1810 Dormont Ave (PA-001)

Try a 4 or 8-Corner with pepperoni and mushrooms sometime. Bring your wallet though...definitely costs a ton more than a Sleazers Hot-N-Ready.
You'll like the crust I bet!

The story that I've heard about the design of the Gremlin is that the guy at AMC sketched out a design on a barf bag while flying, got frustrated and drew a slash through the rear portion of the sketch and the Gremlin was born.

No!  I've been spreading it on Ritz Crackers!  I bet it caramelizes nicely on a pizza.
