@KSM or anybody else looking at this board... I'm driving now, so I'm not going to do what I'm asking you to check
I have a friend who's not deep into the art Bell thing but appreciates the show. He just said that he heard that Art bells wife has died recently . I don't know which wife this is. I have heard a couple of times that his widow went back to the Philippines.

The context of this is unknown.

It was just dropped in a message about something else, I'm clueless otherwise. And no, I'm not trying to feed you into a rabbit hole! It's probably his Japanese wife cuz she was probably older than he was.

Art hasn't been married since 2018.  ;)

This is news to me, but like you I would have no way of knowing. I'll take a l00k as I post..

We have this:

My bet is that your friend was confusing things and speaking about Ramona passing.
It was - ten o´clock in the evening
she is walking down the street
she toiled another hard day – at the cheesecake factory
seven days a week – she is doing the same – and she never complains.
Five minutes to go – then she got the south train - tomorrow I will see you again.

My friend who sent me the Art Bell's ex-wife news said it was recently heard, but not specific.

Keith Rowland has been active within the last few months...

Michio Kaku said "Calculations (Steven) Hawking and I..."  Considering modern guests are low level for the most part, it is remarkable to think about the forum he had in pre-internet popularity (Tonight's Somewhere in Time - September 24, 1999)

How many times has Dr. Kaku been on with sNoory? George has done the show 2.5 times as long as Art, right?

Hahaha...

Don't know the date, Art had a guest on who was talking about anti-aging. Even referencing a clinic in Las Vegas.

Art then went on to say that he was not interested in growing tits appendages if he takes hormones. Hahaha!

I think the show I listen to tonight was from 1995. U7 radio actually listed one of the best of Art Bell dates instead of the actual date as part of the file .

Art was concerned about installing Windows 95. People were buying it at midnight because it had just come out.

I'm listening to another show now where he named the person who is getting his first autographed book of the art of talk. She was in San Diego. If I could hear that name, I might try to Google it.

iHeartRadio death spiral. Longtime propagandists no longer employed in Los Angeles

KFI has been going to shit since they fired Bryan Suits.  The news department was the only thing left worth tuning in for.  Handle is now unlistenable and Mo Kelly is terrible.  Sorry to see the demise of a once great LA Icon.  -Chris Kelly

Mo Kelly contradicted reality so much that I stopped listening to him when he was still doing a weekend show.

Handel, he is another one. When they spun off Rush Limbaugh to another radio station, the bias became much more evident. The whole station went that way minus the John and Ken show and Bryan Suits. Suits wasn't even pro-Trump, he was just a little more grounded in reality, which turned out to be more pro Trump, hahaha.

Suits had some weird stuff go on. Apparently he dropped Kennedy's baby.(Yes, that Kennedy who has a TV show and used to be on MTV) and then he had his wife who was carjacked and later she had shot at him while he was on the air.

John is the only redeeming host and I don't tune in enough when he's on the air.

If I happen to want to hear Coast to Coast, I get the Los Angeles radio station better than the local affiliate. It's a much better sounding signal than KOGO out of San Diego.

Just wanted to stop by .. it's been a while. Anyway, I have noticed an increased amount of Art Bell related activity on the socials--especially Tiktok. So many old clips are coming back again ..
Now I will not be dumb here, and I get algorithms.. the socials are giving my mind numbed brain the exact rot I have become addicted to. But I notice at times the comments, people commenting either that they miss and love Art, or others seemingly discovering it for the first time..
We lived through it all.
That is either humbling.. exciting.. or a reminder of age.
Anyway .. still lurking around. Happy everyone else is still here and active.
