Argh. Somebody is trying to flip this at $110,000 profit in 8 months.

I will lurk on this one because, with the way things are expected to go with even more valuation drops. Although if you look at the pricing history, somebody mentally ill is doing the sale.  I'm impressed with the lot although I wish the open space on it was facing south. I have plans of a solar panel plot that can act as shade for a vegetable garden if I pick a desert area home... Hell, an air conditioned vegetable garden... I wonder if chickens could handle that type of temperature if they were in the shade.
 Hahaha.

I can tell you from experience that there is nothing more pitiful looking than a chicken panting in the heat.

It's cool.  I am guessing the blue is that plastic sheeting put on to protect the stainless.  All that carpet in the bedrooms has got to go. Imagine all the rocks and dirt it would accumulate from the dust bowl of a yard.

That's why you don't have shoes in the house!  I lived in two houses with strictly hard flooring. Way too loud for me.

Hmm maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I thought the appliances were actually blue. Doh! But why wouldn't they remove the covers for the pictures TO SELL ME ON THE PLACE with stainless steel fixins? The kitchen is one of the main things to show off in any way a seller can.
Boy you aren't kidding about the dust! All my electronic studio equipment ETC. Be a swiffering nightmare. Constant.

I wear my shoes/boots in the house. Quality hard surface floors can handle it.

It's all about germs and energy. Although I do get it, having a puppy along for the ride means that it's going to come in the house anyway.

By the way, what I experienced moving to the Vegas Valley first time around was that some components suffered from extreme dryness and static electricity, I believe. I had two TVs fail, both Sony. My friend's dad was a VP at Sony and word got back to me that there was a planned obsolescence chip that would expire after so many hours of normal TV watching. I am presuming that lack of humidity increased the aging of this death chip. I had a ton of problems with everything that had an ebony fretboard, no matter how much oil and the guitar case humidifiers I had.

Something else that I did like was that, after a shower, I would towel off and the towel would be dry a short time later. It cut down on laundry considerably.

Tis the season...

With the exception of the Famous Gross, you're looking at a world of teeth problems and dental nightmares. Utter shit. Please tell me you're above garbage booze.

I would have been a later-in-life smoking alcoholic if it weren't for me being a dad. Let me enjoy sugar and pre-converted sugar toy with alcoholism because I'm not on heroin!

I also bought Riunite Lambrusco recently because I am wanting a dessert and "midday" wine.

Here you go boys. 20+ acres in the middle of nowhere. Trees, grass, big beautiful bush all provide seclusion. Nice view of the water. Not too far from the Ojibiwa reservation and all its benefits. Only drawback is it not a 1 story home and well winter.....is a real winter.

Watch out with that big, beautiful bush stuff.  @Bart Ell is a bushophobe.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

I like seeing gas, even though it is propane.  I only have limited experiences with propane.  My parents had a cabin with a propane refrigerator and a kind of on demand water heater thing (which wasn't very warm but well water was FREAKING COLD). I wonder if its proximity to the Lake Superior would impact one of those heat exchange systems with the underground lines. I can handle 63-68 degrees in winter.

Do the guitars convey???

I do like the walkout semi-basement.  A lot of the insulation without being trapped by a stairway.

Oh, and why isn't the garage attached?  Is that from olden days when cars spontaneously blew up while charging?

As with California, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc... Michigan's run by major shithole cities setting the standard for the rural communities.

@Walks_At_Night, what are the "benefits" of the Ojibiwa?  Gambling, cheap groceries, cheap gas? (My standard is Costco and Wal Mart proximity.  Within an hour, preferably.

Attached garages are not all that common in Northern Mich. Not sure why - they would be a good thing.  Maybe snowmobile fires?

No CostCo for sure. Shopko was the mainstay store along those lines up that way but they all closed. Walmart would be your oasis.

I agree that Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids mostly dictate the states politics but the U.P. has wanted to split off as its own state for along time now. Maybe they make it if Puerto Rico gets statehood. Keep an eye out.

Benefits from the Ojibiwa Reservation?

Only the Indians can make a go at commercial fishing.  Lake Superior Whitefish are wonderful eating:

The Cinnamon Rolls at the Hilltop Restaurant in L'Anse are legendary.  Senda's wet dream:

Casino if you want a gamble and they are about the nicest group of people as a whole that I've ever met anywhere.
