Attached garages are not all that common in Northern Mich. Not sure why - they would be a good thing.  Maybe snowmobile fires?

No CostCo for sure. Shopko was the mainstay store along those lines up that way but they all closed. Walmart would be your oasis.

I agree that Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids mostly dictate the states politics but the U.P. has wanted to split off as its own state for along time now. Maybe they make it if Puerto Rico gets statehood. Keep an eye out.

Benefits from the Ojibiwa Reservation?

Only the Indians can make a go at commercial fishing.  Lake Superior Whitefish are wonderful eating:

Casino if you want a gamble and they are about the nicest group of people as a whole that I've ever met anywhere.

Casino workers often have that energy. I still remember a November 2004 experience at Paris in Vegas.  I was at one recently where I was approached and chatted up.  She said, as she was leaving, "watch my ponytail as I go." I am sure she was bucking for a compliment (she wasn't in a tipping job).  She was incredibly helpful and DID get a compliment in my "tell us how we did" reply.

PS  I have learned NOT to use players club cards.  I win MUCH more frequently without the players club.

CNN turned this story in about a liberal ignoranus without thinking about how fucking stupid they made him look.

He could have easily watched two or three different YouTube videos and gotten about four dozen tips on things to do before you sign on the dotted line in Italy.  BTW, one of my brood spent a semester in Florence, loved the fuck out of it.

I have a friend moving to Spain. In that part of Spain, if something is pictured attached to the wall, it does not automatically convey like it does in California. Installed accessories must be in the paperwork or they can be uninstalled.

Real rocket scientist there "It needed a new roof, that was a big surprise. The kitchen was totally exposed to the sky"  Didn't he or some sort of agent eyeball the joint beforing buying it?  Of course there are issues that can't be seen easily that crop up but being able to see the sky from kitchen is pretty indicitive of some roofing woes.  After all the bitching about some worn out little table or something, you would think the mold, animal feces and what not from having a kitchen open to the elements would be of a greater concern.

Dude is worried about politics in the U.S. so wants to move to Italy?  LMAO.

It was probably part of the "buy a house for 1 Euro" thing they have going on.
Not all are 1 Euro, we saw some as high as 40 grand when Bairyn was looking at it.
You can tell them to leave the sinks and they will take the faucets.
You can't rely on agents doing very much on these things because their commission is next to nothing.
For the 1 Euro ones they give you 2 or 3 years to renovate them up to certain standards.
It's a good idea to get people back into villages that are aging out but we found it was not worth the headaches.

You get these political idiots on both sides ending up in the same towns and shitting up those places because they can't get along there either.
It is this come to life -

That program sounds great. I'll mention it to my friend who's been looking in Spain.

Good point on the agent - commision on not much equals really not much.

Seems like you had better bring your wallet and work gloves.

I had a web browser with a bunch of windows open on my old cell phone it's been probably a month.

I had a few real estate listings open, although the likelihood of me buying another house is dwindling... I still think it's a good idea to have property outside of California.

So, there is one house that , when I opened it a month or so ago, it was $250,000. When I opened the window all the way and reloaded the page, the price went up $60,000.  The California exodus continues, I guess. I closed the browser and realized just now that I should've saved the link ha ha ha.

Well here is one that dropped $90K.  Of course you have to live in Kinston.

Do the Indians, uh, whatever their woke name is, still have a minor league team in Kinston?  I wonder if the Dixie Melody Boys are still together.

Oh yeah. Kinston is still in the Carolina League = I *think* they are affiliated with the Rangers. Can't speak to the singing group.

LoL  No Costco in Kinston - would have to drive to Raleigh for one of them. On the other hand they have a Piggly Wiggly. I've never been in a Costco but the Pig is probably superior, right?
