YouTube is making me sad!

I had two Paul Rivera-era Fender amps, maybe a third and fourth, were BXR amps Paul Rivera?

I started with a practice amp called the Stage Lead. Solid state, I did a mod where I took a Marshall mid-range circuit thing into it. Then I had a 1x15 in Fender Concert.

All I see on my YouTube suggested videos are all these people talking about how great the amp is. I loved my Fender Concert when using a mic to record bass guitar. Later on, I just started using a Tube Screamer on my Fender BXR biamp system so my highs were a bit crunchy.

I had a hell of a time trying to sell my two Fender guitar amps. I got $200 for one and the guy thought he was going to be able to resell it for hundreds more and ended up selling it for less, my Concert Series amp I sold $400 and really blew it. It was an excellent shape and I'm seeing him go for upwards of $900.

I regret selling them and keep dragging my children from place to place. Oh, I'm not supposed to say that out loud 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah that's a sweet sound. LOL Love the barking dog.

Why don't you just find two amps that you stick with and call it a day? I have 5 Marshalls.  :-X

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I guess it's not a bad thing.  ?

I recorded our whole (first) Slippin' Lizard album with an original Rockman in the early 90s. I liked it.

OH! I played a headless Steinberger bass on it as well! Bass player froze in studio and couldn't perform. Dude literally stood around during the process because we were 17 miles out of town and we were his ride there and back.  He was bass cucked!

Two band names if you ever become an impresario and manage an all girl group:

Vicious Kittens

The Violently Cute

Hahaha! You are not the only one! Do you know the guy from spectre sound on YouTube? Heck Gosh darn, you're all Canadians you know each other!

I was the opposite of your bass player.

We would lay the backing track down in two or three takes and I'd want to do it again and again and try harder and harder riffs and more fills. Then a week later I would beg that I recut my line. I was an awful, awful pain in the ass for a lot of people. I admit that.

I guess it depends on why you wanted to re-cut your bass track. You have your time slot, correct? Be prepared and get the take you want when you're scheduled to do it.  You don't strike me as a difficult kinda guy..  8) ;)

I would always start off hanging around the root and keeping it to the chord notes... Then I would want to go lead guitar bass on it and make it melodic or at least so full of fills somebody would think that I was trying my hardest to sound like McCartney, Chris Squire or Mike Mills. Most of the time, my motivation was I would prefer to hear the keyboards doing those lines but there were no keyboards... I would do the same thing with guitar parts that weren't getting played.

I'd often try to introduce a Rick Nielsen kind of thing or Beatley George Harrison. I just wanted to produce good fun pop stuff and I hear stuff in my head and I wanted it in bits and bytes.

This was funny and i neglected to respond to it... Sorry.

There was a time when you needed:
Good low volume amp, stage amp, international voltages (Asia, Europe, USA and something to put up with generators and Mexican electricity)...

I think that's 6.

YOU ARE ONE SHORT, BUCK-O!
😁😁😁

Wait a minute! Does this tiny stack count as #6? It plugs in and I can also operate it on battery power at the beach or somewhere else.

AAaaHAA!

PS: Another entertainment post for @JUAN   Tiny stack counts as a 6th amp. Yes?

OK... Well...

Clairemont is the birthplace and one-time home of:
Fast Times at Ridgemont High's inspiration... (Clairemont High)
Chris Kardashian
Ratt
STP's DeLeo brothers
Bob Taylor (Taylor Guitars)
John Deering (Deering Banjo)
The Monroes
Mark Hamill
Jim Morrison's family (while he was in college)
A lot of 60-70-year olds living with their parents
and this lunatic with his story of a 400lb woman in a freezer:
