That's pretty good, but it would be better if grandma got out of the gas guzzling greenhouse gas emitting Suburban, kissed grandpa, threw aside the walker and burst into

This seems like the kinda guy who is in a constant state of butthurt and will soon ask everyone to boycott chestnuts because he feels they are some sort of trans dream being forced upon us.

It's a butt plug.

That could be!  I'm not sure the French portion of the box was fully translated - Bart, if you tell me how to say 'butt plug' in French, I can check.

Absolutely beautiful. Can I come over?

I'll pick up some Christmas ale this week.

After the winter ales come the barleywines - late Jan, early Feb?  These I buy extras, they age like certain wines.  I've got some going back to at least 2010.  It's fun to have a few people over, line up multiple years of the same brand, and see how they change from year to year.

I mostly get these because, you know, Bigfoot.  And cartoons.  And they were the first brewery around here to put out a barleywine.

Great full-bodied beers. Tons of calories, but worth every sip during the season.

This Thursday is Christmas decoration day at my place. Nobody but Vera and I. She'll have her Christmas collar on and I'll wear a Santa hat while creating the scene to jolly ol' Christmas classics.

Dean Martin
Frank'
Nat King Cole
Bing Crosby
And Burl Ives.

...and an apple cinnamon pork roast in the oven!  :D

Feel like I'm going to be the only one carrying this thread this season. Oh, sure, you Scrooge's will chime in with tasteless humor-isms of Christmas mockery and even unsolicited and inappropriate sexual content, but I'll be the only quality contributor.

I've played several Christmas concerts but didn't mention them because I didn't want you yelling at me again for being too early.

I drink very little, but I try to at least have certain favorites available when I do.  Same with fancy desserts.  I can easily pedal off the calories in no time.

hehehe  sorry about that.  Love the concerts!

Nice.  Given how little you drink, it's a little odd to think that I could absorb all the beer you bought for Christmas in one sitting so-to-speak.

There's no way I'll drink all this myself over Christmas and the upcoming year, but it will be there when I want it.  The goal is to make it to Thanksgiving with at least a few on hand.  I still have a little left over from last year.  It ages well, my son likes it, it'll get drank.

I can drink the Summer light crisp pilsners after a Winter bike ride, Octoberfests and bocks anytime, etc.  I regret not stocking up on Anchor Porters before they closed, that was a good beer.

Instead of doing the smart thing and heading back from NYC the usual way I decided we should detour to Montreal for a few days.
Smart Bart did not check the weather and had no idea he was driving into the first winter storm of the season.

I'll post in the proper Christmas thread.
Last night the brass group played Christmas music at a house famous for its Christmas display, grinches, Santas, and other characters. Tour busses come to this place.  I almost froze.  Right on the marsh. 52F, 97% humidity, 10-knot wind.  Now that might not sound cold to our northern brethren, when the only clothes you own are t-shirts, shorts, and a pair of flip flops, that's cold.
