Without the Woo, how can you spice up this place a bit? The drapes match the carpet too much

#NoMonotonousMonotone

The problem seems to be that there is carpet instead of hardwood.

How can I?
Why so lazy, Statler?

You mean I have to supply my own hardwood?

Dear Bartmas

I'm somewhat concerned about my standing with Santa. Is it possible to be both naughty and nice?

That depends on the ways of being naughty.
Santa is fine with whoreish naughty but frowns upon sweeping the leg of a piss stained senor citizen not named Falkie or Brig.

Yes. If you get the balance between the two right, it can be very interesting! Or so a friend tells me...

Not if there is carpet!
I once had carpet burn on my knees that lasted four months. By God she took forever :-\  Wark St, Victoria BC.   Was short on the rent - landlady lived upstairs.

A Raven that I bought for $10 earlier that day.
It had 12-56 strings on it... probably the original ones from the 60's.
It did not stay in tune and made more noise than a Bill prude alert.
I meant to go back and redo it but never got around to it so I just buried it.

It looks like this one.
These were department store guitars.
They do not age well.
Kinda worth the $10, though.

Well...……………...I did not expect that!  I was going to say in my post that it definitely wasn't a Gibby or Fender.   I have a Raven Gibson SG copy. Looks like the original Angus Young.  It is the worst piece of garbage one can comprehend. Hangs on the wall above my work bench - dusty as hell.

These guitars are great. Saw off the neck just above the body. Drill an appropriate hole in each. Insert a short length of wooden dowel and push together. At the loud conclusion of the gig, the lead player swaps to this one, runs to the front of the stage and smashes the guitar. The dowel breaks rather than the guitar.. Retrieve the axe, and have a roadie replace the dowel on the bus. Repeat.
Merry Christmas

The dowel may be more expensive, though.
