That's awfully nice of you.  I care about the 200 mark!  Although about 40 came overnight.  Maybe it was because of the post about many women's clothes not having any pockets.  A lot of women can empathize.

Yes, I earned 10 fun points there recently.  He must have worked it out with Bart.  Pretty cool activity.  I used to stay away from RikkiGins thread because I was afraid the word Gin might trigger me back into alcoholism.  But now I'm inured just from seeing it on the list for so long, hopefully.

Yes, I earned 10 fun points there recently.  He must have worked it out with Bart.  Pretty cool activity.  I used to stay away from RikkiGins thread because I was afraid the word Gin might trigger me back into alcoholism.  But now I'm inured just from seeing it on the list for so long, hopefully.

Did you miss the part about his lesser qualities?  He can be lazy, and mean.  And oh yeah, quite condescending.  But he helped me start to write better by pointing out mistakes I had never realized I'd made for decades.

Yeah, I think  it was a bouquet of daisies.  Big spender.  But then again  800 mgs of Ciproline twice daily don't come cheap.

No.  When I checked the original sources online (the woman's complaint), he did ask her out in some written format I think, probably a note.  She did not respond.  He did the admirable man thing and over time, persevered 2 more times.  She never actually gave him a response, but then she passive-aggressively publicly shamed him and flipped out in a public way, and to this day has never properly responded to his 3 requests for a date. Really sad.  He's not perfect.  But he's not a stalker.
Modified:  It might have been by voice mail.
Modified2:  Dare I opine that his faults are that he can be lazy, and mean, and is not loyal to people inasmuch as loyal to principles.

One time in a really busy restaurant, we were just swamped, green to the gills.  But I had to stay at my post.  I was not allowed to move.  A crotchety old man hissed at me, "Why don't YOU do something instead of just stand there!"  So I did.  I walked past him, out the door, and never looked back.  It felt hilarious to me.  I wonder if he even noticed.
