For the record, I can count somewhat convincingly to 100 in Japanese but I've always thought since the age of seven when I was forced into martial arts that the first THREE were hilarious. When you're a kid.. one-two-three in said Asian language sounds pretty funny! So that's the way I've ALWAYS visualized it in my head. I visualize everything. It's hilarious!  EACH KNEE SAW!!!

Where do you get your beans from?

There’s a local chain of WOKE coffee shops that sells beans. Very expensive. There’s a Harris Teeter that sells OK whole beans.  BTW, this Harris Teeter is the whitest place I’ve ever been. Men in khaki shorts and golf shirt uniforms and women in tennis dress uniforms just like the 80s. They also have English food on the International specialty aisle. Rather than cook sausage balls and goulash in the front of the store, they cook prime rib dinners for takeout. I intentionally wear jeans and a t-shirt with a stretched out neck when I have to go there. People avoid me as though I’m some kind of Bellgabber.

We lost our Winn-Dixies a number of years ago.  Lowes Foods came in an pushed them out.  Now Publix came in and is squeezing Lowes.

For what it is worth, I have a family member that worked at the Harris Teeter for a couple of summers.   That particulare store is incredibly clean behind the scenes.

We have a really nice food chain here in Texas called HEB. Howard E. Butts.  They have been upgrading a lot of their stores to compete with the high end Kroger mega stores.  Another good chain that isn’t as widespread is called Fiesta.  They have amazing international selections in their larger stores. 

I don’t buy as much fresh meat as I used to, and about half of what I do buy is from a butcher shop.  I live right near Galveston Bay so there are lots of places to get fresh seafood.
