Yep.  We get practically everything.  LAN phone service/DSL/HBO/Showtime.  I don't use it nearly enough to justify paying the money we do.  It is a waste of money as I mostly just watch TCM and some of the ghost shows.

Same here and as I recall it was exactly $286.00/month that I was paying.  At least they are consistent in their overcharging.  I think they made me an  offer that would reduce that by about 20.00/mo. but they couldn't do anything about the lline speed.

We were like that at one point - just at smaller monthly price point.    Split the phone off first to a VoIP outfit.  Then ditched the TV plan
and went with Satellite TV.  That helped a great deal.   Eventually ditched the TV altogether.  So we are under $100 a month now.

TCM and a couple of channels are missed and I've never watched 1 second of Game of Thrones but the Sun still comes up in the morning for me.

No TCM? No GoT? Next you'll tell me you never eat dark chocolate. Life would not be worth living

Not a big chocolate fan either and I still am not watching the NFL this year.   Guess it's over for me.   :'(

I'm sure we agree on many things just not politics. What's your favorite beer?

Yep - plus while I watched all of Calvin Johnson's career be wasted, I don't have to witness the rest of Stafford's go the same route.
So I have that going for me too................

How did you feel about Andre Ware? He went to hs about a half mile from where I am house sitting.

They had his name painted on the water tower. They have changed it now.

Coors/Dos Equis. There used to be a beer called Olympia (Oly) that I used to enjoy while on the West Coast or in Hawaii.  Can't get it in the East or at least in these parts.

i have neither . no reason to waste money on a tv service, when all i do is use the tv for a giant monitor for a pc anyways.
statistics can be used to prove anything. 14% of the people know this.

Andre Ware is a key man in Detroit Lions history.  They really needed a 4th for Bridge in the Lions QB Draft Debacle Club.
He hangs with his buds Drew Stanton, Chuck Long and Joey Harrington monthly at the Detroit Athletic Club where they yuk it up
and laugh at ripping off the Ford's as the four of them together weren't worth even an Eric Hipple.

You can still find Oly but like other cheap "regional beers" (Rainer, Lonestar, Stag, PBR, Old Style, Natty Bo, Pearl, Stroh's, etc) they are contract brewed and owned by some conglomerate. One notes that Oly is now brewed in California (even in the Washington St market) and the words Tumwater does not appear on can. It tastes different also, though, honestly, it was not a beer necessarily drank for taste but it is worse now and I used to like it.

The brewery's "It's The Water" sign faced the freeway and the poor old rusty thing became an ironic mockery.
