I was on the road before 4:00 a.m. I tried to listen to C2C.

That quickly got boring so I went to the music stations on the radio. That was even worse! A bunch of crap and, funny enough, one iHeart station had a promo that said "who knows maybe you'll hear some Bon Jovi." No Doubt (don't speak) started to play. I switched channels and Bon Jovi is playing on another iHeart station. 91x here in San Diego is independent and they were playing Psych Furs. When that song was done, I go to the station that was playing Bon Jovi and, they were playing No Doubt's don't speak.

Normally, I only keep six stations in my memory and I expanded it with my new car thinking that I will have some music selections pre-programmed in... I'm back to six stations. 5 AM and 1 FM sports talk after this morning's experience.

Where are you going before 4am? I would have stuck it out with Coast rather than sports, bon jovi, or no doubt. In fact, if I were in the passenger seat I would have changed the channel back and then pushed your hand away when you tried to change it back.

I was driving a kid to the airport. Had to be really early because the flight had a lot of demand (the airline sent numerous emails offering financial incentives to take a later flight). So physically checking in early was one way to prevent getting bumped.

I am contemplating putting shit (music and Art Bell) on my phone. I wish this stupid car had either a CD player or second USB input for the head unit.

Argh.

The reason I'm here is that there's a little article about dogs having favorite songs. I found that my German Shepherd from about 40 years ago liked the Beach Boys. He was super smart and was treated like a human. One day I was learning the piano to Sail On Sailor and he recognized it. It was really a cool moment.
