Being pressured into becoming a 'Seahawks Guy'
I don't wanna be a seahawks guy  :(

I think I like the Rams..  since I was a kid even. Rams are mighty but birds are just, well, birds. Garbage eating miniature dinosaurs.  When Baseball season comes around the fucking Mariner pressure will surely begin.

Ha! I’d be all for just calling the KC-Buffalo game the Super Bowl.  What a last two minutes and OT.

Shame it was decided by a coin toss.

I saw online the Chiefs/Bills game was coming down to the wire, so I turned it on.

The first thing I wondered was why the Chief defender was hanging all over the receiver, then pushed him away from the ball, and no call.  Not unexpected, I've seen endless non-calls on what used to be clear PI increasing for years now.  They ought to either call it or stop calling it.  Also, the ''just let them play'' at the end of games is bullshit.  If it's a penalty on the first play of exhibition, it's a penalty on the last play of the Superbowl.  If they truly aren't going to make calls at the end of the game, then the refs should tell both sides and go sit down somewhere, instead of having a guessing game.  If you don't want to get a penalty, don't commit one.  On the very next play they call a less flagrant PI, but the receiver caught it anyway.  Was that just an ass-covering flag so they wouldn't get accused of not calling them that late in the game?

One of the many reasons I don't really watch sports is the officiating.  Fucksakes, they ought to designate some fan at home watching on TV to make certain calls the refs never seem to get right.  PI in football, balls and strikes in baseball, fouls in basketball.  Given the percent of just horrible calls and non-calls, my theory is they are too close to the action somehow.

I was assuming a Buffalo squib kick on the kickoff to force them to pick it up and run some time off at 13 seconds.  The announcer even told the audience that was what was coming.  This is why teams do that.  The coach threw away the win on that.

I'm glad as usual I didn't waste 3 hours on this.

That was some awesome footballing today. That last quarter plus overtime of the Chiefs Bills game should have it's own corner of the the Hall of Fame. A cool West Coast Team is going to be in the Super Bowl. I am not displeased  8) 8) 8)

You poor, bitter, miserable man.

One of the greatest games in NFL history, and all you can do is complain about it and ultimately dismiss it as not worth your time.

You hate everyone, and everything.  Sucks to be you.

#73 should've taken him out.  These people that run on the field are idiots.

Cool = Not the Chargers. 😁

My long dead dream of a Spanos-less Chargers is coming 30 years too late, but it's coming. He'll be forced to sell the team, surely...

You're just one dumb, projecting clod, aren't you?

Yesterday I was doing some work and as long as the laptop was out I checked the scores a couple of times.  Once they were tied, the other time one of them was up by a TD.  When I checked again it was around the two minute warning and the Bills were up by 3.

I like defense, or at least some defense.  Two teams racing up and down the field scoring every 30 seconds isn't that interesting.  ''Look a two play drive of 75 yards and a TD''.  ''Look, the other team did it too''.  ''And now the other team again, this is greeeaaaattttt!!!''.  Naw man.

Keep in mind I didn't see the whole game.  What I saw when I turned it on was two exhausted (or just lousy?) defenses being sliced up.  All while being told multiple times that the Bills have the best pass defense in the league.  I saw one egregiously bad non-call with a WR being mugged.  Then a coach fail to take 5 or so seconds off of 13 remaining, giving the other QB just enough time.  What did he say about that after the game?  I'm sure someone asked.  What did the kicker say?  They had to have talked about the kick before he just went out and sent it through the endzone.

Other than that I have no idea how the game went.  I do know I've watched my share of games with crucial bad calls and non-calls at the end.  I've seen more bad clock management than I should have.  I've seen plenty of swiss cheese defense.  It's unsatisfying, to say the least, to invest a Sunday afternoon into a ball game, only to have it end with any of that - or even with 3-4 TDs in the last few minutes.  So what?  What do you care?

Now, go bother Falkie.
