I am still pondering why in the hell da Bears traded up to get Trubinski leaving Mahomes and Watson on the board.

That's nothing.  The Niners traded away two first round picks and a third round pick to get Trey Lance, a quarterback they obviously don't need, and who has played four full games in the past three years, including college.  Thank goodness they didn't end up with dumb old Justin Fields, eh?
