Local talk radio spent the summer on QB talk, then switched over to Nick Bosa's contract a week or so after Tray Lance was traded (it didn't matter when you turned it on, that was the topic lol).  At least real games will give them something else to talk about while waiting for the NBA to start (the Warriors are their real interest).

Bosa back, 49ers at Pittsburgh to kick off the Brock Perdy era.  Rare to see both those iconic teams on the field at the same time.  Steelers in black?

The first game of the season! That was fun!

It was a nice, close game, always fun to watch when that's the case.  For a second there, I thought Mahomes was going to windup with another ankle injury, but happily that didn't happen.   I was glad to see Mike Tirico back as commentator.  He's great.  I miss ShayP.

Can't watch NFL games on ESPN. WTF!? Was really looking forward to the Jag/Colts game today, and now I'll have to tune in some online radio stream and LISTEN to the game like some kind of savage! More and more, ESPN is absolutely useless to have.  ESPN is now some sort of middle-man. Pointless. You can't watch MLB unless you have an MLB.TV subscription, so why the EFF would you watch it on ESPN rather than the MLB network!!?? And now it's the same with the NFL. The greed in major league sports  ??? :o ::)
Enjoy the game @JUAN Go Jags.

The NFL has always been greedy.  What about Sunday Ticket?  What does that get you?

Sunday ticket is an option, yes. More supporting google ::) I may have to do that though.
Or, there's always..  x1337x  :-[  If I feel my hand is forced I will go that option.

Stop watching sports.  It stopped being fun a long time ago, which was supposed to be the point of it.  The examples and reasons we can point to are endless.

I hear ya'...

Jags beat the Colts today, 31 - 21.
My Lions are holding fairly strong as they maintain 1st/2nd place in the western division.

I promise. Next year I'm done with it all. Already cancelled my MLB.TV subscription. Blue Jays and woke bullshit has been edging me out for a few years now. Jig is up, and I'm oot!

You should broaden your horizons, you grumpy old sod. There are shortly going to be not one, but two world cups (!!!). One is the rugby world cup (that's a game played by men, not cissies covered in protective equipment), while the other is the cricket world cup, which is a more intellectual and demanding form of baseball.

That's good advice.  Why do we focus on baseball, football, basketball, and hockey, and ignore everything else - other than because everyone else does?

The only thing I watch is the Tour de France.  But none of the other races, one three-week event a year is enough cycling for me,
