He's been elevated to the active roster just in case.

We may see him on TV holding the clipboard, or giving someone an ''attaboy'' as they run off the field.

I will make a wild guess that the Raiders, the cowboys, New England and the Steelers will not be going to the super bowl for this season. The 49ers will be going to the Super Bowl.

William Clay Ford Sr., grandson of Henry Ford and owner of the Detroit Lions before his death designed the logo that is appearing on the Lions helmets in tonights game. He came up with the design in the 1960's but it has never appeared on a helmet until now.  An interesting and totally useless fact.

''The Denver Broncos beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday with a score of 29-12, which made it an official NFL Scorigami'' (first final score of 29-12 in NFL history).

Is it just something that's being publicized now or is this season just extra special?

I never heard of this before this year.  It's probably rare given all the NFL games that have been played for decades.

My two least favorite NFL teams.

Pete Carol likes to coach his players to play dirty - hurt opposing opponents, late hits, twist and gouge at the bottom of the pile, the constant PI, oh how I wish someone on the opposing team would just absolutely take him out in a play happening in front of where he's standing.

Go Cowboys.
