I no longer follow the NFL...  I have Amazon and the game was in Vegas. I wanted to see the stadium... So I started watching...  63-14 Raiders are leading?

I laughed out loud. I hate me some Chargers. I used to hate the Raiders. Now that they are in Vegas, they're OK with me.

They fired the head coach today, I hear. I heard sports talk radio mentioning Bill Belichick probably being fired by the Patriots. Then, the crazy shock jock suggested that Belichick might find a home in LA. I don't see somebody with half a brain, who isn't desperate, signing up to work for the slumlord Spanos family.

No, no, no.  They are no longer the San Diego Chargers...

For decades, the owners put the city of San Diego over numerous barrels. They even put a bunch of lies in writing and had the city council provide a ticket sales guarantee.

They were an illiterate city council. I know firsthand that one of them had difficulties reading anything but a Bible. No exaggeration there. So, anyway, it was old school extortion. And finally, they lost public support. Some sportscasters in the area call them the c words and others call them the traitors.

You're reading far too much into my comment. She, and I, were rooting for them yesterday as we both loathe the Raiders. I suspect that we both bailed on the game as the continuous spanking by the Raiders unfolded. Oh, I know, the San Diego Chargers were run out of town only to be adopted like a one-armed-red-headed stepchild by LA, but they're people too. Even though they're looooosers.

And maybe they DO care about me. Why be so presumptuous? I can be quite charming.
