There's an opening in Buffalo for a kicker.

No kidding. I'm sure it was a long walk back to the locker room

I'm in a quandary here. I want all four of the remaining teams to win the Super Bowl. I have too much love in my heart

It was an amazing back and forth. I never get to see Buffalo play and didn't know they had it in them

If you account for wind chill, the Freezer Bowl (Chargers-Bengals) was the coldest at -59F.

Forrest Gregg was an offensive tackle for the Packers in the earlier one, and head coach of the Bengals in the latter.  That's a rather frigid distinction.

Freezer Gregg and Refrigerator Perry...

Yeah, this is nothing new in Buffalo.

Haha, love that!  It's ''us'' when we win, and ''them'' when they lose.

My guess is everyone in Detroit is on the Lions bandwagon, and the Pistons aren't getting much play - other than in passing about them sucking.

Oh yeah. Most successful Lions squad of my lifetime and I'm well over 50.  I'm not a big basketball guy and haven't followed the Pistons in forever but this year has sucked me in and I have folllowed them pretty closely. It is just not that they lose but it is the variety of ways that they find to do so that is fascinating.

Don't forget the 12-4 1991 squad that lost to the Redskins in the NFC championship game.  I maintain that Barry Sanders was the most entertaining player I've ever seen, and he rarely opened his mouth.  Herman Moore was another eventual monster on that team, though that was his rookie year.

Oh I haven't forgotten. Absolutely humilated by the 'Skins. Ouch.  Guess I was counting the two playoff wins this time around but you are correct. When push comes to shove they are in the same spot as '91 - If they somehow win or lose by less than 30, this squad has it free and clear.

Sanders was a joy to watch although he could be frustrating at times.  At some point it is third and one and you need a critical first down and he can't get it for you.  The documentary on him available on Prime is excellent. He looks great today - no doubt he made the right choice to retire when he did. Brain isn't addled and he can walk normally.  Would hate to see him crippled like Earl Campbell.

I'm the same with the Warriors here.  Didn't watch any of it when they were winning championships, but am fascinated now watching how the team and the fans deal with the winding down of the 'dynasty'.

Plus you have all that A's drama.  Where will they play in 2024? SLC? Sacremento?  Back to the Coliseum?
