That's a bit premature.

Chiefs, most hated team...

Oh please.  Raiders.  Cowboys.  Patriots.  49ers.  The Chiefs wouldn't even register if not for the PDAs from one of the players and his pop star GF during games.

Well, first of all, I was responding to your post about which NFL teams were hated around the league, nothing about the SB.

Second, earlier you had Chefs vs Ravens in the SB, then changed it to Chefs / Dolphins - all AFC teams, so...

I'm always looking at a quarterback's mindset when it comes to the super bowl.  Purdy has never been under such intense exposure and no telling how he will react. Thus far he has handled the pressure fairly well, but Mahomes has been there before, and I think that he will prevail.

Fairly well?

I'll give you my prediction next week.  I'm trying to avoid the 2 week hype fest right now.

The 49ers are the better team, but Mahomes is scary.  It should be pointed out that it did take them a missed FG by Buffalo to move on.  Buffalo.

The 49er defense can't take a quarter off like they did against the Pack, and can't wait until the 2nd half to get it going like they did against Detroit.  If they do, they lose, if the D shows up for the full game, they win.

Let's take a look at the Chiefs wins and losses during the season

Wins:

Jags
Bears
Jets
Viks
Broncos
Chargers
Dolphins
Raiders
Patriots
Bengals
Chargers

A couple good wins, Vikings, Miami was the only team to make the playoffs they beat in the regular season

Losses:

Lions
Broncos
Eagles
Packers
Bills
Raiders

A championship team should have done better against Lions, Eagles, Packers, Bills.

So 1-4 vs playoff teams during the season.  The win was against a 6th seed, the losses were to #2, 3, 5, and 7 seeds.

SF had trouble in both their playoff games, but found ways to win.  KC beat the Dolphins 26-7, Bills by that missed FG, and the Ravens by a TD - mostly because the Ravens played like punks.  I would not have picked them if I knew they had OBJ and Clowney on their team AND relied on a bunch of young players - dumb rookies like Flowers with his horrible taunting penalty are influenced by these guys.

So I'm not seeing the KC dominance.  The 49ers were the best team in the NFL all year - if they play their normal game, they'll win.

Yes, it'll pay off for someone.

PS, I thought we were friends.  You want to bet on the Chefs and call someone else?

Since I'm not following very closely and I've been hearing a lot of talk about the big game on radio, I was kind of under the impression of might have been this week, er today... I was hoping it was today so that I can do my Costco, gas , and maybe some Home Depot and automotive tool shopping.

Something else, that girlfriend of Brock Purdy, I think with the white bodysuit, why doesn't Taylor Swift wear something like that. My guess is that she's got Spanx in her leotards. She is getting old at 34 years old and I'm sure she's had to cut back on the cocaine.
