Indeed.  Seems like he was headed to an autograph session, someone pulled a gun on him.  The victim fought with the robber and took the slug and then wrestled the weapon away and shot the hood.  Watch him end up getting sued as he's a 1%'er whom oppressed the downtrodden.

Hard labor should straighten the wayward youth out...

Oh wait... this is Calfornication...

If there is a basketball thread, there's probably nobody looking at it. I thought this story was funny.

I'm at Halftime on the San Diego Los Angeles Chargers vs. Oakland Las Vegas Raiders
Herbert and Harbaugh. Seem like a deadly duo. Should I go back to rooting for them @sean92008 ?

No.

You may not root for them until every last Spanos has died or been imprisoned.

Do you remember those apartments on the west side of the 15 freeway just north of Mira Mesa Boulevard? The ones with the big round bubble windows... Those dumps were built, owned and managed by the Spanoses along with quite a few others.

Every one of them had code violations and tons of problems. It was bad enough that Spanos and the Chargers took advantage of a (mostly) legally illiterate city council, but learning about the slumlord status endeared me to the team even more.

At least you don't even have an inkling to be a Washington football team fan, do you? Even though they got rid of Snyder, they still have some issues in the front office 🙀

If they ever went on a playoff run, all their former fans would be right back on the bandwagon.

The question is whether the Harbaugh magic is enough to offset the Spanos ownership.  We'll know soon enough, Harbaugh magic has a fairly short shelf life.

Tall order. If he were to do well, they'd probably fire him like they did Marty Schottenheimer after they went 14 - 2.

Thought I'd watch a little football tonight.  Al Michaels is calling the game.  The dude is almost 80 and hasn't lost anything.  Good for him.
