Doh!

But it's just fine for the NFL (and MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA) to stick it to the fans at every turn. To me this is the free market, and it allows people who didn't get tickets but want to go and are willing to pay up for them to do so. If the NFL is selling these tickets at less than their fair market value, and a middleman is buying them at face and selling them for more, so what.
They give them out to sponsors, TV executives, their fat cat friends, politicians, all the ''elites'', and the real fans - the season ticket holders who pay the freight - get screwed, as usual. And they want to shut down the secondary market because someone might make a few extra bucks?
Someone else is greedy?
So don't give them out to the players and team employees anymore, give them out to a few more sponsors and the local city council members instead and we'll all feel better.
We really need a fans union that will boycott games when these jackasses get to be too much sometimes.
