Football tonight, @TigerLily

I actually watched the first half of the Lions Chargers game. The Lions were stomping the Chargers into the ground. I usually never watch pre-season. I think this game reminded why.
I would like to root for the Chargers but their Management is so evil. At least starting the season it will be Rams, Lions, Chiefs

One glorious season I had NFL Ticket and got to watch all the teams. Last few seasons it's been back to regional games. How are your Panthers looking for this season?

Jaguars.  We don't know.  There's a new coaching staff and lots of new players.  Will they jell?

It looks like Stetson Bennett, who is from near here, will get a lot of work as Stafford's backup this preseason.

How can he go wrong? He was named after a cowboy hat. I bet momma made daddy leave it on during the act. Wasn't there a song about that?

Tough night in the NFL pre-season.

The Seahawks mascot, a live hawk, got snagged in the field goal net.
One of the Lions safety's took a knee to the head on a tackle and has a seizure on the field.  EMTs worked on him for like 15 minutes on the field.  In class move, the Falcons snapped the ball but didnt do anything with it and the players let the remainder of the 4th Quarter wind down.

Mama Ford turned 100 years old today.  Shortly after Bill Ford Sr's death, she went over to the Lions facility and started firing people and the long climb  of the Lions becoming a respectable NFL team was started.

This year the Lions drafted a wide receiver named Teslaa.  One of those real nice stories.  Born in Michigan, life long Lions fan, started playing college ball at Hillsdale College of all places.  Transferred to Arkansas and became the Lions third round pick.  Did so well in camp, the Lions traded veteran WR Tim Patrick [solid, veteran guy] to the Jaguars. In the first two games, Goff has only thrown two balls Teslaa's way.  Both where acrobatic, one handed grabs.  This last one was red haired cheerleader approved.

So, fellow Bulldog Jordan Davis beat fellow Bulldog Matthew Stafford and @TigerLily . How does a 300+ lineman run that far?

New information on the altercation Mark Sanchez had with a food deliverer.
Copied from Reddit...

 Per Fox 59:

We can now report what is stated in the police narrative from last night’s stabbing involving former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez. According to the police narrative we received from sources Sanchez was not cooperative with police when they first arrived on scene. Another man listed as the victim in the police report told police he was delivering food when Sanchez told him he needed to move and couldn’t park where he was. That man told police Sanchez started threatening and following him and then attacked him. The man said he first tried to pepper spray Sanchez but it didn’t work. He said it was at that that time he defended himself with a knife. Police noted the man had a significant injury to his face.Sanchez was taken to the hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery. It is important to note that Sanchez has not been interviewed yet.
