I picked that all up from friends who brew their own and talk about it all the time.  Probably tuned some of it out. 

Do you brew your own @PolkaDot ?

@PB We used to. My husband was really into it. We kinda stopped because it's hard to drink that much beer at a time anymore. We occasionally still brew or make or own wine but nothing like what we did twenty years ago. We would have huge brew parties that lasted all day and into the night. It was fun, but we were into the brew scene and had a crew of home brewers and knew a lot of the local brewers and stuff. Would go to GABF and all that. Good times.

Yep, I'm a bit of a beer snob and I'm okay with that. I have very strong opinions on fermented beverages.

You may be thinking of the shure sm7b, I can understand the mild discrepancy. Pictured above and heard in my latest is the Electro Voice AKA EV re320. It is the little brother to the most famous broadcast mc of all time, the EV re20. Also, the EV re27nd. I have all three. They are dynamic cardioids that come across as condensers without all the extra room noise of actual condensers.

Pretty sure it was, yes. I believe Limbaugh had a gold re20 and that little puke Ryan Seacrest uses one, or at least has one.  I love the re20 best of all three EV broadcast mics that I have.

Those are the most common podcast mics these days but they're gain hungry and darker sounding. Rogan, Adam Carrola, everybody uses them. I dislike them.
