I ran across some cryptid hunting show. The thing they were looking for could knock down a horse, drag it into the woods, and bite through the horse's bones while eating it. A bunch of cryptid hunters got together wearing baseball caps, orange safety vests, and carrying trekking poles. Not a one was armed with any kind of weapon. What did they think would happen if they stirred the thing up in the woods? That it would invite them in for tea?
