I know what Dave is talking about from the TV analogy.
But then again I am weird and used to get up at 5 and 6 am on Saturday morning to watch the test patterns and sign-on routines.

Dave, Lesley Joan Lupo is REALLY interesting, I'm getting major chills while listening to her. Timing is apt, I was at an intense celebration/memorial tonight for a dear friend and health advisor who passed away recently. Celebration reviewed her life and her impact on so many in major ways in my community, very spiritual about life and death and transformation into the non-physical.

I am hoping that this is what my friend experienced as she worked at being conscious to the last moments of her passing, until she lost consciousness. I am taking great comfort from her story and especially in the clear and vivid details with which she is telling it. Please thank her for me! Very powerful.

We had snow last night and sunshine today.

Not enough to go sledding.

If it makes you feel any better, Winnie, winter just blew in down here in GA tonight so we're sharing your misery.  We had nothing but rain for the last 5 days but now it is clear and cold.  Of course we're probably having a heat wave compared to y'all up North.  Had dinner with a friend this evening who is going up to visit family for the last half of November up there.  She's not looking forward to the cold.  We will be getting down to 27 tomorrow night  and we'll have upper teens next week.

If it's gotta be cold at least let there be snow.  I can't stand the cold otherwise as I grow older. That's what sucks about the South, cold but not usually cold enough for snow.
